Essential services

The yavqo-cookie-consent cookie records your preferences, the consent version, and an expiry time. It lasts 180 days unless you clear it sooner. It is used to apply your choices and avoid asking on every visit.

The essential __Host-yavqo-auth-challenge cookie (yavqo-auth-challenge in local development) stores an opaque verification identifier for up to ten minutes. It is inaccessible to page scripts and is removed after verification. Account authentication and security use session storage managed by the account service. Payment services operate when you use the relevant payment features. These necessary functions are not disabled by the optional settings. Their storage lifetime depends on the service and session configuration.

Preferences and translation

This optional category allows the website to remember your theme (yavqo-theme), local notification state (yavqo_notifications), and whether the language suggestion appeared (yavqo-language-suggestion-seen). These local-storage values have no built-in expiry and remain until cleared or the category is disabled.

With this category enabled, the browser can contact ipapi.co to suggest a language based on your IP address. The request shares your IP with that provider; the website saves a shown flag rather than your IP or country for this feature. The language-modal preview also requires this category.

Yavqo Translate loads a third-party service to process page content. The first-party translation cookie remembers the selected language for the browser session, and the language also appears in the URL. Provider-controlled storage may have different lifetimes. Without this category, the site remains in its original language and the language selector directs you to Cookie Settings.

Support assistant

This optional category allows the Help Center to load the ElevenLabs assistant. Loading the widget connects to the provider, and using it shares the information you communicate with that service.

The assistant does not load before this category is allowed. Provider-side storage, retention, and processing are governed by that service’s configuration and privacy information; this page does not specify an unverified retention period.

Making and changing your choices

The banner offers Accept all, Reject optional, and Manage settings. Optional categories start off. Rejecting optional services leaves browsing, sign-in, and essential functions available.

Open Cookie Settings from the footer anytime to save a different combination. Saving reloads the page so newly disabled scripts are no longer loaded. Rejecting preferences removes the website’s named preference values and first-party translation cookie, and removes the language parameter from the current URL.

Your choice is specific to this browser and website. After 180 days, clearing the consent cookie, or a consent-version change, you will be asked again. Other open tabs apply changed choices when focused or at their next periodic consent check.

Browser and provider controls

Disabling a service prevents further loading through the features controlled here. It cannot undo information already sent or delete data held by a provider. This site cannot remove cookies belonging to other domains; use your browser settings to manage that storage.

If your browser blocks saving the consent cookie, the website reports that the choice could not be saved. Optional features remain off without a valid saved choice. Review the Privacy Policy for broader processing information and its current draft status.
