How can I make a place search more specific?
Include the place name, street, city, or region. If several places have similar names, compare the address and surrounding area before choosing a result.
A place’s information looks incorrect. What should I do?
Check the information with the business or organization directly, especially opening hours and contact details. If you ask about an issue, include the place name, address, and the detail that appears wrong.
Location and permissions
Why can’t Maps access my location?
Check whether your browser or device has allowed location access for Maps. Review both the website permission and your device’s location settings. Permission controls vary by browser and operating system.
My location appears in the wrong place. What should I check?
Check your device’s location settings and connection. A location estimate may be approximate. Compare the map with your surroundings and search for a known address if the estimate is not useful.
Can I turn off location access?
Yes. Use your browser or device permission settings to revoke location access for Maps. This is separate from the main Yavqo website’s cookie settings and IP-based language suggestion.
Map information and troubleshooting
The map is not loading. What can I do?
Check your connection, note any displayed error, and try reloading the page. If the issue continues, record your browser, device, and whether it affects all areas or only a particular search.
What if map information differs from what I see?
Treat the map as a reference. Follow posted signs, access restrictions, and actual conditions. Do not assume that a mapped path is accessible or suitable for your journey.
Where can I check which features are available?
Review the controls and information in the Maps service you are using. This page does not confirm live traffic, offline maps, turn-by-turn navigation, or coverage for a particular region.
A little context
helps.
Include your device and browser, the place or area involved, the search you entered, and any error message. Describe the location issue without sharing your home address or other private location details unnecessarily.
Remove passwords, API keys, personal information, and confidential material from screenshots or examples.
